Lead Engineer HVAC

We are looking for a Lead engineer (HVAC) to join my client in the Eindhoven area on an initial 12-month contract working on a MEP construction/fit-out project for a clean room. This is primarily an on-site role with the opportunity for hybrid working.

The client requires someone to work on leading a team of designers/engineers to complete MEP (HVAC) works within a clean room-like facility. Experience as a contractor, working with the end-client and multiple other subcontractors in order to move the project from a basic design phase to a construction design engineering phase is required.

The right candidate will have experience with leading an engineering and design team as well as the technical knowledge to work on the design and engineering to complete the MEP aspects of a clean room in a manufacturing facility. The candidate must be able to adapt and lead to on-going and new project scopes.

Lead Engineer Specification:

START: Immediate – Interviews throughout March

LOCATION: Eindhoven area, Netherlands

DURATION: 12 Month Initial Contract (long term opportunity).

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum Education requirement: Bachelors – Engineering (mechanical / electrical / HVAC).
  • Experience leading a team of 6+ designers/engineers within MEP-works projects (budgets up to €15 million each).
  • Contractor experience within concept, basic and construction engineering phases – having the technical knowledge and practical experience.
  • Experience with client meetings.
  • Clean Room experience – HVAC works in a hospital, laboratory, or chip-making facility environment.
  • Fluent Dutch is essential.

Beneficial skills:

  • Leading teams within multiple projects.
  • English language is beneficial.
