Piping Supervisor – Germany – April

- Contract length: 12 month contract

G2 are currently working with a globally recognised client in the oil and gas industry, who need a piping supervisor to work on a 12+ month project on a freelance basis. As a piping supervisor, you will be responsible for leading piping installation, maintenance and repair duties to relevant quality standards. You must have experience as a piping supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Planning of the assembly works for the field of piping / pipeline construction;
- Control of maintenance, installation and repair of pipelines;
- preparation of shutdown activities in the field of piping;
- monitoring of bills of quantities and construction progress control;
- Coordination and supervision of EPC, EPCM companies;
- Ensuring HSE and quality assurance on the construction site in the field of piping;
- Creation and processing of tracking reports for the purpose of meeting deadlines and project progress;
- Development of construction and assembly concepts and execution strategies for pipeline construction;
About you:
- At least 5 years experience as a piping supervisor in the chemical, petrochemical, refinery, power plant technology industries
- Good knowledge of HSE guidelines
- Knowledge in pressure vessels, pumps, heat exchangers, reactors and pipeline construction
- Knowledge of AD2000, Pressure Equipment Directive and Machinery Directive 2006;
- Proven experience in the coordination of assembly of contractors and installation companies;
- Experience in handling EPC and EPCM projects;
- Very good knowledge of German and German in Word and writing.
