80% Hybrid Working Accountant Opportunity – Projects Accounting – Engineering Client

Account/project accountant to join my client based near Wolverhampton. The client is particularly interested in candidates with experience covering accounting for projects, the client is an international engineering company working on many prestigious projects.

The work pattern is primarily based from home, the client operates an 80% remote working policy with employees only working from their office on Wednesdays.

The project accountant is accountable for monitoring the progress of projects, looking into variances, approving outgoing inclusive of expenses, and ensuring that project billings are issued to clients and payments collected.

START: ASAP

LOCATION: Wolverhampton (commutable from Wolverhampton

SALARY: £35,000 – €60,000 per annum + package

WORK PATTERN: Hybrid – 4 days per week from home – Wednesday in office

Accountant – Project Accountant – Hybrid Working

CIMA, ACCA or ACA partially or qualified accountant (AAT also considered)

Advanced Excel skills

Accounting practice or projects accounting type background

All industries and sectors considered

Good interpersonal skills

Knowledge of financial report, analysis, quarterly reporting and cost scheduling, variance etc

Interest to develop career with a forward thinking company

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
