Project Manager

G2 are currently looking for a permanent Project Manager to manage CAPEX projects for renewable power generation in Belgium. You would be working for an end client operator, within their renewable technology teams providing renewable energy resource throughout Belgium.

The customer is the owner and operator of the site and welcomes any applicant with a relevant background as a project manager in the chemical, petrochemical, energy, or heavy industries. They are looking for technical project managers who have a working history delivering EPC projects for end clients or EPC contractors.

Project Manager – Belgium – Permanent – Dutch Speaking

Start: Q2/Q3 2024

Task: Delivering CAPEX projects for end client plant operators throughout Belgium (Flanders region focus)

Salary: €100,000 – €120,000 per annum + car + package

Location: Brussels Office (2-3 Days per week onsite, in office for meetings) + limited travel to site (mainly Flanders region)

  • Permanent Project Manager (Brussels Central Office – 2-3 Days in the office/hybrid per week)
  • Dutch speaking – essential skill
  • Technical engineering background, ideally electrical, power generation or electrical infrastructure
  • CAPEX project delivery experience, €1 – €8 Million value, 6 – 12-month project timelines
  • Technical PM with very strong HSE planning and execution experience, knowledge of construction and sub-contracting management
  • Experience with tender selection, supply chain management and cost management for project deliverables
  • Engineering degree, diploma or similar required
  • Based in country, happy to travel to sites Belgium and potentially in other countries
  • €100k – €120k (13.92 months) + car + per diem (around €300 per month)

Beneficial Skills:

  • Additional skills with early-stage engineering (concept, Pre-FEED, FEED) beneficial, not essential
  • Knowledge of electrical equipment, high voltage equipment or electrical infrastructure

Kane joined g2 in April 2023 as an Academy & Systems Trainer.

His role involves teaching the consultants that are new to the company the foundations of recruitment and our systems before then helping them to upskill in areas specific to each consultant. Working closely with different consultants and watching them implement the feedback, apply it, and then benefit off the back of it.
