Senior Asset Manager

Our client, a local authority based in Hampshire, has just confirmed to myself that they need to bring in a senior asset manager to their Corporate Assets Team on a 3-6 Month contract. The role will consist of overseeing all non-residential property and estates management, from lease reviews and renewals through to acquisitions and disposals, whilst also deputising the Corporate Property Director whilst dealing with Private Fund Management of property.

The ideal candidate will possess/demonstrate:

  • MRICS Chartership or demonstrate experience within the public sector to a similar level.
  • Experience working on large commercial/corporate property acquisitions and disposals and valuations(REGISTERED VALUER STATUS NOT NEEDED)
  • Ability to drive complex and layered lease reviews and renewals, and complete in a timely manner.
  • Ability to cooperate and understand work overlapping with development and regeneration teams on major projects and schemes.

IR35 Status– Inside (Day Rate Negotiable DOE)

Contract Length- 3-6 Months.

Working Schedule– 2 day in Civic Offices/ onsite, rest of week WFH.

These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
