Service Engineer

Service Engineer (Mechanical or Process bias) to join our client in the UK, supporting projects throughout the Midlands and North of England. This would be a long term permanent opportunity which would lead to career development.

The client requires someone to work on the mechanical service engineer for mechanical and process equipment for a mix of industrial and municipal process plants, you would be involved with installation, commissioning and start up for various industrial and power clients globally.

The requirement is to have someone who can be based from home with the option to travel nationally. It is likely that projects would last from two weeks to two-three months with travel being a part of the role.

Commissioning Engineer Specification:

START: Flexible start, January onwards

OFFICE LOCATION: Various throughout UK, home based for role

SITE LOCATIONS: UK, Midlands, NE and NW

PERMANENT SALARY: Good package + Earnings (OTE earnings around £40,000 – £50,000 Per Annum)

Essential Skills:

Mechanical, Process or Mechatronic Engineering background (3+ years’ experience).

Understanding of mechanical or process equipment, ideally process plant

Knowledge of process plants, industrial, municipal and/or energy production

Industrial manufacturing, chemical manufacturing or FMCG sector experience

Working on site for inspection, servicing and refurbishments, FAT or SAT

Happy to travel to work sites, with occasion to stay away from home

Site based working experience essential.

Fluent English speaking

Beneficial skills: Not essential

Any knowledge of electrical or plc systems

These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
