Senior Electrical Supervisor / Site Manager (Bauleiter) – Germany – 12 Months Freiberufler

We have a request for an electrical Expert to support a Brownfield processing plant project in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.


· Contract Length: 12-Month Contract

· Working pattern: 40-50 Hours per week

· Location: On-site in North Rhine-Westphalia

· Hourly rate + Expenses – Dependent on technical Experience / Match

· Start Date: Middle – End of May

· Contract Type: Freelance / Self-Employed


· Senior Site supervision / Management for Electrical Installation on Process Plant

· Site Management Experience Preferred

· German Speaking (fluent)

· Ideally, you have experience as a contractor representative, to communicate with End Client.

· Ideally you have experience in Rolling mill or Steel projects

· Knowledge of Simatic S7


Your task will be to manage the Electrical + Instrumentation installation of the project. Cabling, Instrumentation, transformers, MV & LV convertors, Automation systems.

Taking this from pre-installation through to handover in 2025.

You will be coordinating engineers & installation teams on the site.

You will work with discipline leads for Fluid, Mechanical & Construction

Anticipating & Solving any issues on-site

Installation tasks:

– Cable routing in E-Rooms, cable tunnels, field areas;

– Installation of transformers, MV and LV converters, MCCs, PLCs, field area equipment

– 25kV, 5kV, low voltage and control cabling

– Coordination with other disciplines (foundation works, building electric, mechanical, fluids)

– Reporting to Project Manager
