E&I Engineering Manager
g2 is currently looking for a E&I Engineering / Project Manager to work on a long-term basis opportunity within the (Petro)Chemical Industry in the Rotterdam area, Netherlands.
The client has taken on both larger & smaller EPC CAPEX projects in the Rotterdam region, these are primarily within (Petro)chemicals, Energy, Renewables and Process industries.
CONTRACT TYPE: Freelance OR Permanent
LOCATION: Rotterdam, Netherlands
DURATION: Initial 12-month contract
WORKING PATTERN: 40 hours per week. Some home working (1-2 days)
Specification:
- Electrical, instrumentation & automation experience.
- 5-10 + Years of E&I project / engineering management experience on industrial projects.
- Experience working on coordination of tasks on site (external stakeholders, engineering contractors).
- Ability to manage people and business acting as an E&I expert in the detail.
- Overseeing quality, meetings, scope, offers and budget.
- Someone who can manage detailed engineering for entire projects, keeping a close eye on discipline engineers including Hardware, I&C, Automation.
- Understanding on a higher level what the engineers require guidance for and issues they face during projects. Taking charge and making decisions.
- EPC CAPEX projects experience.
- English & Dutch Speaking (essential).
The client operates on the contractor side, covering vast areas across The Netherlands. This work will be primarily from the engineering office in Rotterdam with occasional site visits.
This will be working on the industrial projects / production facilities and will require someone who is interested in working on CAPEX projects to work in a team to ensure the project is completed successfully.
