Field Services Engineer

Our client currently has an exciting opportunity with huge earning potential for a Field Service Engineer to join their in the Rotterdam region, Netherlands.

The client is particularly interested in candidates with experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with mechanical or electrical engineering knowledge, who also has an understanding of Oil & Gas standards.

The client is an equipment manufacturer focusing on skid packages for Oil & Gas processing for onshore and offshore projects with end client operators.

THE CLIENT WILL CONSIDER PERMANENT CANDIDATES, NOT FREELANCE - English Speaking

START: May, June, July 2025

LOCATION: Rotterdam region, Netherlands

SALARY: €3500 - €5,000 per month + 8%

BENEFITS: OTE - €6,000 - €10,000 per month with stay away pay, overtime hours, company credit card, etc.

As part of the role you will be expected to travel internationally on a regular basis to areas such as South America, the Middle East, Europe, etc. and you will be spending 50% of the time in the Netherlands and 50% of the time travelling to client sites.

Field Service Engineer - Production Engineer

  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background and knowledge
  • Working history in the Oil & Gas industry or similar
  • Experience working on commissioning and servicing for process equipment
  • Good understanding and knowledge of ATEX standards, or other Oil & Gas industry standards
  • Fluent English essential

The client has advised that they would be happy to have candidates based in Netherlands already or would be prepared to move to the Rotterdam region, but must be prepared to travel internationally on a regular basis for extended periods.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
