Data Analyst
We are working with a leading international company in the Construction and Infrastructure sector, known for delivering large-scale projects such as tunneling, and Rail Infrastructure worldwide. With teams operating across numerous global locations, they offer a dynamic environment filled with diverse and challenging opportunities.
They are seeking a Data Analyst to join the innovative and young team. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing data quality and boosting data structures, helping to drive smarter, data-knowledgeable decisions across the organisation.
Your Role
- Collaborate across departments to align various data needs and bridge gaps between business and technical teams.
- Work carefully with Data Stewards to tackle complicated data challenges and provide strategic insights.
- Improve and expand existing datasets while designing new, effective data solutions.
- Analyse and streamline data flows and processes to boost system efficiency and meet evolving business needs.
- Ensure data solutions adhere to governance standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and translate business requirements into clear data standards in partnership with Data Stewards and operational teams.
- Analyse, optimise, and restructure datasets, solving complex data issues and offering proactive advice to business users.
- Monitor and assess the quality, relevance, and reliability of datasets, making strategic recommendations for improvement.
- Oversee the entire data lifecycle, from creation through to archiving.
Skills Needed:
- Demonstrated expertise in data structures and practical experience with modern data management tools and platforms.
- Proven analytical capabilities with a strong track record of solving complex data-related challenges.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in data analysis or data management roles.
- Proficient in both English and Dutch, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Background in the construction or infrastructure industry is a plus, but not a requirement.
