Contract Manager

5+ year project in need of Contract Manager

g2 are currently looking for a Freelance Contract manager to work on very large civil construction project in the heart of Antwerp. They are a contractor on the project, and you would be involved in Contract negotiations with the End client.

The contract uses NEC4 Contracts, but my client will fund any training needed in this area so previous experience with this is not needed.

The client are looking for a experienced individual with experience within Civil construction projects to join and manage the contracts associated with such a project. The role would involve monitoring any changes needed to the contract with the end client, this can be due to additional costs, works or any risk that is not currently included in the current contract.

START: ASAP

LOCATION: Antwerp, Belgium

DURATION: Initial 12-month contract but project ongoing until 2030

HOURS: 40 Hours a week

Contract Manager

Specification:

  • 5 years' experience within Civil Construction
  • Some experience needed on working with Contracts or project planning/ Controls
  • Dutch language skills are essential

Beneficial:

  • Previous experience working within Contract negotiations
  • NEC4 Knowledge

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
