Construction Manager

A client is searching for an experienced construction manager for an 8-month freelance contract in the Greater Munich area. This is an essential role on a large-scale power plant project.

Construction Manager

Location: Greater Munich Metropolitan Area

Start Date: June/July 2025

Duration: 9 months (Likely Extension)

Type: Freelance/Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the construction of mechanical works, stations and integrated systems in an underground pipeline system.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to integrate systems and ensure project success.
  • Supervise all activities on the stations and portions of the pipeline systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and industry standards

Essential Qualifications:

  • 10 years' experience
  • German level B2 or above
  • Experience working in Germany
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
