Civil Project Engineering Manager - Industrial Manufacturing - Long-term Greenfield Project

Specification:

· 5-10+ years of Civil/Architectural Project Engineer/Project Manager positions or similar

· Experience working on Industrial/Process-related projects

· Full project lifecycle experience from FEED to completion.

· Client-side experience on large scale engineering projects / experience handling EPC contractors/design bureaus

· Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering Education

· Fluent English speaker

My client is currently looking for a Civil Project Engineering Manager to work on a multi-year Brownfield construction project from basic engineering and FEED stage, to construction, Commissioning and handing over to Operations in Chemnitz.

This would be working directly for the Asset Owner therefore experience working on projects from the client-perspective would be very beneficial.

This is a brownfield project for an Industrial Manufacturing Plant with a total value of over 30 million EUR so experience on projects of this scale would be useful.

The role would be to work in the project office for the design and engineering phase, the expectation is 40 hours a week with 2 days working from home on offer.

The client has indicated there will be some travel to other European Locations for meetings in their Central Engineering Office when required.

These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
