Reactive Repairs Surveyor

I am currently partnered with a client in the West Midlands currently hiring for a Repairs Surveyor with a focus on delivering responsive day to day repairs.

The most ideal candidates will have a history of working within Local Authorities and Housing Associations to assess issues brought forward by tenants and resolve property complaints.

Responsibilities

Focus on inspecting domestic housing stock & building defects from customers reported concerns with a heavy focus on diagnosing cause and remedy.

Job role is to carry out diagnostic inspections, surveys & technical reports to ensure accurate and thorough records are logged.

To schedule the works to be carried out by contractors, be the final point of sign off once remedial works are completed.

Requirements

Recent experience in social housing

Not essential but relevant degree or HNC/HND ideal

Package

6-month contract initially

Negotiable rate DOE

Potential for Remote Working 1 day a week

Potential for extension based on performance

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
