Job Title: PLC Programmer & Commissioning Engineer specialised in Industrial Machines

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced PLC Programmer to join my client in the Netherlands, where you will play a pivotal role in the development, testing, and commissioning of software for industrial concrete production machines.

You'll be responsible for programming, configuring, and troubleshooting Siemens PLCs within the TIA Portalenvironment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and prepare control software for concrete production machines using Siemens PLCs within the TIA Portal platform. This includes programming, debugging, and optimization to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
  • Conduct thorough testing of PLC programs in our workshop in Oldenzaal, ensuring the systems are fully functional and meet all safety and operational standards before installation.
  • Travel globally to client sites to commission the machine systems after mechanical and electrical installations are completed.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with concrete production machinery or similar industrial systems.
  • At least 3 years experience with SCADA systems, Siemens PLC and Tia Portal.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
