Design Engineer

G2 have an incredibly exciting opportunity within the SHIPBUILDING industry!

A client in the SHIPBUILDING is looking for a Permanent Design Engineer to work on major Yacht design projects, joining their pay-roll within The Netherlands, on either Sneek and Groningen.

The company is a successful SHIP BUILDING client which operates throughout the Netherlands. You would be working on Yacht projects ranging from 100 metre Yachts to 20 metre Yachts. The performance of the client is reflected in the package and salary for this particular vacancy.

They focus on SHIPBUILDING projects with a specific focus on Yachts , for the design aspect. You will be working on both 2D design and 3D modelling, specifically with software such as Rhino, SolidEdge and AutoCAD. Any 3D experience is a good fit.

Any candidates who have worked in the SHIP BUILDING sector, particularly with 2d design and 3d modelling and are based near the Hague, would be interesting for the client.

Salary: €4,000-€5,000 per month (+ holidays, pension)

Location: Groningen and Sneek , Netherlands

Start: September 2025

Job Specification - Designer - Interior

(Dutch speaking is essential for this position, English is beneficial.)

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
