HSE Officer

We are looking for an Interim HSE Officer to join a construction site for a project in Rotterdam.

The client is looking for a HSE Officer to assist on a full-time contract for the next 6 months to assist with a current increase in workload, you would be part of the sites HSE team working to increase safety during the Day-to-Day operations and increase the Safety culture on site.

The client has advised that this could be completed 3 days per week if necessary.

Some main tasks include conducting risk assessments on construction sites as well as increasing safety culture with current workers.

 

START:ย December 2025

LOCATION:ย Rotterdam, Netherlands

CONTRACT LENGTH: 6 months (initial contract)

HOURS:ย 24-40 hours per week

 

Specification:

  • 3-5 years experience within maritime operations and construction
  • Dutch and English Fluency
  • Experience working as part of an internal HSE team
  • A motivation to drive good safety practice.
  • A people person, positive and great communication skills

-ย ย ย ย ย Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with management and operational staff

-ย ย ย ย ย Able to do site walks and drive the HSE mindset

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
