Project Engineer and Senior Project Engineer

We are  currently looking for several Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers to join our client who is primarily focused on the design, engineering and fabrication for operational vessels used in the offshore maritime, wind, construction and oil & gas sectors.

 

They have opportunities in several teams, but would be particularly interested in engineers with experience covering top sides, decking, and equipment used for offshore transportation, construction and installation projects.

 

The client has a need for Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers to join them on a long term freelance or permanent basis to assist with the functional design, engineering, systems integration and coordination for all dockside equipment packages.

 

The role will suit projects personnel with experience in the offshore construction and service sectors, ideal experience will be working with vessel engineering, design, fabrication or yard build experience.

 

Project Engineer and Senior Project Engineer – English Speaking 

 

START: ASAP

LOCATION: Alesund – Norway

SALARY:  8000,000 – 1,000,000 NOK per annum + package

FREELANCE: 12 Month Rolling Contracts – Good rates

 

Essential Skills:

5-10 Years’ of projects experience – ideally within the offshore industry

Technical Engineering background – Mechanical, Electrical, Construction or Structural beneficial

Experience working with DNV, Lloyds Register and Bureau Veritas

Working with ship building, engineering contractors or systems integrators/equipment suppliers

Happy to be based in Norway with the potential for international travel

English speaking is essential.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
