An opportunity has opened for a freelance Electrical Instructor to support the Operations team in delivering high-quality technical training. This role focuses on integrating modern technologies, promoting effective crew collaboration, and aligning with maritime operational procedures through simulation-based learning.

Responsibilities
- Conducting technical training sessions for shipboard engineering teams
- Delivering courses in line with established instructional frameworks and quality standards
- Assisting in the creation and refinement of onboard procedures and training materials
- Staying informed on industry developments and emerging technologies
- Coordinating with support staff and fellow trainers to ensure smooth course delivery
- Participating in performance review processes for training participants
Essential Experience
- Minimum experience as a First Electrical Engineer
- Additional experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer, Superintendent, or Marine Engineering SME is highly desirable
- Cruise ship experience is preferred
- Prior experience in training or instruction is a plus
Essential Skills & Attributes
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networking, and Microsoft Office 365
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in multicultural environments
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
