g2 Recruitment is currently looking for a permanent QHSE engineer for a client within the offshore engineering industry. They are an Offshore EPIC company primarily working on offshore wind and infrastructure projects, looking for a HSE engineer to assist with the design and delivery of projects. English Speaking Role.

The client requires the QHSE engineer to join their team aiding with preparation onshore, load out and transportation, then installation and construction offshore. They are working on a broad range of projects including subsea and cable lay packages.

Specifically, the client needs a Health and Safety Engineer who is confident designing and supporting projects in an offshore environment. Additionally, this role will involve writing procedures, auditing suppliers, HSE management systems and completing audits for vessel chartering.

 

START– Q1 / Q2 start

LOCATION – Rotterdam, Netherlands

 

Specification:

· HSE professional – Offshore background

· Experience working with offshore EPC/EPCI companies (i.e. Boskalis, Allseas)

· Ideal experience would be working on projects from concept, through engineering/design to delivery offshore

· NEBOSH (similar certification considered)

· ISO 14001, 45001 or ISO9001 is a benefit (not essential)

· Auditor and offshore certifications are beneficial

· English speaking and understanding essential

· Dutch is not required

 

Duties:

· Writing procedures - preparation onshore, load out, transport and installation, construction offshore

· Design engineering support for engineering, design and delivery for projects-

· Preparation for equipment suppliers, audits, review procedures

· Audits for vessel chartering companies

· Lead engineer for projects, offshore and mobilisation support

· Potential for offshore working - HSE offshore support

 

The QHSE engineer with contribute to the planning and execution of subsea installation projects. You will support the design, engineering, mobilisation and offshore operations with a strong focus on QHSE procedures and compliance.

The role will be based from their offices in the Netherlands which is expanding rapidly, flexible working offered.
