PERMANENT MES ENGINEER - MULTIPLE LOCATIONS - ENGLISH SPEAKING - GLOBAL TRAVEL

g2 Recruitment are currently looking for an MES Engineer for a food industry client with offices across Europe.

The client is happy for this to be a remote role, but it would be ideal to be based near to one of their main offices in Europe. The role may require up to 15% of time travelling globally, for the first 6 months primarily to The Netherlands.

The client is rolling out a standardization program for the MES systems across their plants globally. While this happens, they ideally need someone to assist with troubleshooting and maintaining the MES systems on their existing plants.

The ideal candidate would have experience troubleshooting C# and python (although not necessary to be a programmer), and should be proficient in MES software e.g. Traksys, Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider. SCADA experience and knowledge is beneficial.

LOCATION: Flexible Utrecht (HQ), Madrid, Mozzecane, Fontaine-les-Vervins, Mugla)

PERMANENT CONTRACT/ Payroll

Specification:

· Experience troubleshooting MES systems.

· Experience with MES software e.g. Traksys, Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider.

· Ability to troubleshoot C# / Python software.

· SCADA experience is beneficial.

· Willingness to travel globally up to 15% of the time.

· English speaking is essential.

The candidate will be ideally having experience working with integration of systems on site. This is a role with the end client who is undertaking all of their own system integration and automation work on their own. This is a great opportunity to be involved in this type of work with the end client and not an engineering company.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
