Site Manager · Dutch Speaking · On-Site

We are looking for a highly skilled Site Manager with a strong technical background to lead the on-site execution of international industrial silo projects.

You will represent our organization at client locations worldwide, ensuring that every project is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with agreed specifications.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys travel, and has proven experience within the petrochemical or heavy industrial sectors.

 

Job Title: Site Manager – International Industrial Projects (Full-Time)

Location: Worldwide (extensive travel required)

Language Requirement: Dutch & English

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead, coordinate, and supervise all on-site activities during project execution.
  • Manage on-site teams, subcontractors, and local labor to ensure smooth operations.
  • Oversee compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and technical specifications.
  • Act as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, providing clear updates and technical guidance.
  • Identify and resolve technical or logistical challenges promptly.
  • Organize on-site logistics, materials, and equipment for efficient project flow.
  • Prepare accurate site documentation, progress reports, and completion records.

 

Candidate Profile

 

  • Fluent Dutch speaker (essential).
  • Several years of experience in industrial project management, preferably within the petrochemical sector.
  • Mechanical background or strong mechanical understanding is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead international project teams.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel worldwide for extended periods.
  • Capable of working independently and making decisions under pressure.
  • Valid passport and readiness for short-notice travel.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
