Project Manager - Electrical Engineering - Green Hydrogen

One of our clients' who have a strong focus on power to X and Green Hydrogen projects across Europe are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineering Project Manager to join their core team in Saxony.

They offer a highly competitive salary and bonus scheme that increases annually. They also offer a full healthcare package, and they will assist with relocation if needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers—competent, committed, and solution-oriented.
  • Manage technical and commercial aspects of projects from planning through implementation.
  • Support commissioning activities to ensure smooth execution.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with budgets and timelines.
  • Develop plant concepts and prepare technical documentation using E-Plan P8.
  • Design and plan projects in the field of electrical engineering and EI&C technology.
  • Coordinate technical clarifications with internal teams and external partners.
  • Lead project teams and schedule personnel deployment in close collaboration with specialist departments.
  • Identify opportunities for additional or supplementary orders and drive acquisition efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Ideally, experience in project management and knowledge of EI&C systems. Basic understanding of electrical installations in potentially explosive environments is desirable; knowledge of functional safety is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in E-Plan P8 and familiarity with process control, control systems, and field technology.
  • Qualifications: Degree in electrical engineering or completed training as a technician/master craftsman in electrical engineering or automation technology.
  • Language Skills: Strong communication skills in both German and English.

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
