HSE Supervisor · On-site
We are seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance on a major infrastructure project involving traction substations, transformer stations, and electrification systems for a cross-border tunnel. This role requires strong knowledge of safety standards and proactive leadership to ensure a safe working environment throughout construction and installation phases.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures across all site activities.
- Conduct risk assessments for high-voltage electrical works, confined spaces, and heavy equipment operations.
- Ensure compliance with German safety regulations (DGUV, Baustellenverordnung) and EU directives.
- Deliver daily safety briefings, toolbox talks, and HSE training sessions.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare reports and corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, permits, and compliance audits.
- Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure HSE alignment.
Essential Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in large infrastructure or electrical projects.
- Knowledge of high-voltage systems safety and tunnel construction protocols.
- Familiarity with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Strong communication and leadership skills; fluent in English (German is a plus).
