Project Manager · On-site

We are currently looking for a Project Manager to work on a project for a client in Switzerland. The client is beginning preparations for a large EPC project involving biomass gasification.

They require a Project Manager who can manage the front end engineer / project development phase of the project.

The project is for 3 months to start with but if they win the next phase of the project then you would be required to manage the procurement, construction and commissioning phases.

 

Project Manager Specification:

START: ASAP

LOCATION: Zug

DURATION: Initial 3 month contract

 

Essential Skills:

  • 10-15+ Years’ Project Manager experience in any process plant industry.
  • Engineering or Construction background, experience working on large CAPEX projects over 10m€.
  • Experience working specifically in the front-end engineering / project development phase, however experience with full project lifecycles is beneficial.
  • Ability to work with local authorities and major stakeholders to negotiate contracts, and use these contracts to select and negotiate with suppliers.
  • Ability to select, negotiate and manage subcontracts.
  • Ability to coordinate an organized project execution with multiple suppliers on site at any given time.
  • German speaking is highly preferred.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
