Business Analyst · Hybrid

A client, a well‑established insurance specialist, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support system change and transformation projects within their P&C (Property & Casualty) domain. The role centres on analysing current processes, gathering requirements, and contributing to the implementation of new or enhanced insurance systems.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse existing P&C insurance processes and system workflows.
  • Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT, underwriting, claims, and product teams on system changes.
  • Support solution design and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Assist with UAT planning, execution, and defect follow‑up.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions.
  • Produce clear documentation: process maps, requirements, user guides, impact assessments.
  • Monitor project progress and support delivery teams throughout the lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within P&C insurance.
  • Strong understanding of underwriting, policy administration, and claims processes.
  • Background in system change, migration, or transformation projects.
  • Ability to translate business needs into structured requirements.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to work on‑site in Brussels as required.

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
