Health Safety Environment Officer · Hybrid

g2 are currently looking for a permanent HSE officer.

The client is looking for a permanent HSE Officer who will support them with the heavy lift side of their business, this will be primarily delivering offshore projects.

The role will be based from their office in Rotterdam, you will be working on HSE development, coordination of audits, managing QMS system, analyse incidents and risk, reporting both nationally and globally.

 

Location: South Holland, Netherlands

Contract: €5,000 - €6,000 per month + package - Full-Time/Payroll

Languages: Dutch & English

  • Experience with construction projects
  • Experience within the offshore/shipbuilding industry
  • Knowledge of site based safety, ideally in a construction environment
  • HSE certification – NEBOSH, IOSH, MVK or similar certs
  • Quality or HSE bias
  • Experience with steel structures, welding etc
  • 1-5 years working experience
  • Any safety (14001, 45001) or Quality (9001) audit experience is beneficial
  • Experience with heavy lifting

The role is working for a client with between 500 – 1000 employees, they work on a broad range of construction projects,

Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
