Instrumentation & Control Engineers (Freelance) – Carbon Capture & Biogas | Netherlands
We are supporting a leading international engineering company delivering greenfield carbon capture and biogas projects in the Netherlands and are currently looking for Instrumentation & Control Engineers to support commissioning and site activities.
These roles are approved and ready to start.
Role Overview
- Position: Instrumentation & Control Engineer (4 roles)
- Location: Netherlands
- Contract: Freelance
- Rotation: 10 weeks on / up to 2 weeks off
- Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (potential overtime)
- Language: English
Key Responsibilities
- Support commissioning activities on greenfield carbon capture and biogas facilities
- Perform IO testing and loop checks
- Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and process teams
- Support site acceptance and handover activities
- Ensure instrumentation and control systems meet project and safety requirements
Required Experience
- Background in Instrumentation & Control, Electrical or Mechanical engineering (or a combination)
- Strong process understanding
- Proven commissioning experience
- IO testing experience
- Previous experience on greenfield industrial projects
- Ability to work independently on site
