Site Manager · On-site

The client is specifically looking for a Site Manager with strong technical experience in stainless steel piping, who can take ownership of on‑site coordination from start to finish. The role will also suit a senior Mechanical supervisor or a junior construction manager. This role will be working for a sub-contractor not the end-client or main contractor.

The role will suit a Site Manager with experience managing mechanical and piping activities within industrial environments such as process plants, terminals, or energy facilities.

 

CONTRACT LENGTH: 6 Months

Essential Skills

· Proven experience as a Site Manager, Construction Supervisor, or similar role

· Strong technical background in SS piping / piping systems

· Ability to manage daily on‑site activities and coordinate contractors

· Experienced with planning, progress tracking, and supporting budget oversight

· Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills

· Able to work independently and provide practical, solution‑oriented support

· Fluent in English

 

The client focuses on the delivery of major industrial and mechanical projects, with a strong emphasis on piping, installation work, and on‑site coordination. The work will involve hands‑on management of field activities, interfacing with engineers, resolving on‑site issues, and ensuring the project progresses according to technical and safety standards.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
