The Role -

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and execution of major renewable energy projects. Based on-site in Munich, you’ll work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of electrical systems across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and review electrical systems for renewable energy projects (solar, wind, hybrid, storage).
  • Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and project engineering teams during design and construction phases.
  • Ensure compliance with German and European electrical standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and best practices.

Requirements:

  • EU citizenship and previous freelance experience
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in renewable energy, power systems, or EPC project environments.
  • Strong understanding of LV/MV/HV systems and grid integration.
  • Knowledge of relevant German and EU regulations and technical standards.
  • Proficiency with industry software (e.g., EPLAN, AutoCAD, ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on, collaborative mindset.
  • Professional proficiency in English; German language skills are a strong advantage.

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
