Project Manager · Hybrid

Project Manager to join a client based at in near to Leiden, Central (The Netherlands) working in the project development and construction sectors.

The client is particularly interested in candidates with working experience any renewable or power generation industry. This is a role to develop and deliver EPC/CAPEX projects.

The client is ideally looking for experience covering cradle to grave project management, covering both project development from concept, engineering, design, procurement and construction onsite.

The client works on national and international projects, having operations in multiple sites throughout the EU and world. The are happy with client side, consultancy or EPC company backgrounds.

START: Q2/Q3 2026 – Immediate start is available

RATES: Good market rates

LOCATION: Leiden, Netherlands

DURATION: 12 month contract (rolling)

 

 

FLEXIBLE WORKING – 2-4 Days in the office per week, very flexible work pattern which you decide.

The role is based in The Netherlands, Dutch is not required for the role, but it is beneficial to understand that Dutch working environment and have a minimum of B1/B2 level Dutch language skills.

Project Manager:

  • 10+ years’ experience covering project delivery, planning, budgeting, execution and handover
  • Any experience with contract negotiation, cost management and sub-contract management is beneficial
  • Ideally engineering and projects experience, covering any of the following - energy, power generation or renewable sector is most applicable
  • Project management for a broad range of projects/equipment/CAPEX/OPEX packages
  • Knowledge of national and international projects structures, SME or operator background
  • Dutch language skills are preferred, English professional fluency is essential
  • Internal and external stakeholder management
  • Happy to work on a hands on basis, work in the office, client side, construction work sites

The client requires project manager who can work with the existing team, supporting the projects specifications from concept, set up project team structures, coordinating with engineering and construction functions, managing packages to construction, supporting contracts and quality. The role will also cover either single or a portfolio of projects to deliver at any one time.

The company is growing, they are looking to continue their developing in the coming years and this role is an essential part of this process.

Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
