Job Opportunity – Interim Closedown Support (Technical Accountant) – South East England
A local government client based in the South East of England are looking to bring in a Technical Accountant to offer closedown support for 25/26 accounts on a 3 month rolling contract.
Contract Duration: 3 Months rolling.
Rate: DOE
IR35: Inside
Hybrid: Preference is X2 days per week in office (Could maybe consider X1 day per week in office).
Days: Full time (X5 days per week).
Start Date: ASAP
Main Duties:

- Technical accounting role offering closedown support on the statement of accounts, year end 25/26.
- Lease accounting, Lease register updates.
- Grant accounts.
- Support with working notes on the SoA.
Successful candidates:
-
- Must be a fully qualified accountant.
- Must have year end closedown experience & lease accounting experience.
- Must have specific local authority experience.
