Senior Project Manager · On-site

Senior Project Manager to join our client working on large scale civil infrastructure projects, working through engineering, design, pre-construction construction and delivery to the client.

The client is specifically looking for project managers who have experience working on total project delivery, covering projects management, project controls and contracts management. You would be working for the main contractor on various major civils projects.

The ideal candidate will come from a main contractor or consultancy background, ideally working on major projects with values from €20 – €250 million. The role will be based from both the clients office in Dublin and projects offices in the Dublin region, they do carry out projects throughout Ireland and EU.

 

Senior Project Manager Specification:

START: April, May, June 2026

LOCATION: Dublin – Multiple offices in the Dublin region

SALARY: €70,000 - €100,000 per annum + package + car

WORK PATTERN: Flexible working – You would manage your time between office, site and home

 

Essential Skills:

  • 10+ Years’ Project Manager delivery experience on major or capital expenditure projects
  • Main contractor or consultancy working history – ideally working for civil or infrastructure clients
  • Technical background in civil engineering, civil construction, CSA, civil infra or highways
  • Ability to handle budget, planning and manage risk and cost
  • Contracts management, the client will be delivering projects inline with NEC3 and NEC4 formworks
  • Experience delivering projects in Ireland – private or municipal projects delivery
  • Degree qualified or hands on engineering/site background considered

 

The client is primarily focus on the delivery of major infrastructure type projects, covering construction, utilities and major infrastructure developments. They are involved with cradle to grave deliveries. They have 5-9 years of projects on their books which you would be involved in delivering.

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
