The Opportunity
An international developer is delivering a new-build data centre in Copenhagen and is appointing a Project Manager to take ownership of on-site delivery.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys being close to the build, thrives in technically complex environments, and is comfortable managing multiple workstreams in parallel. You’ll play a key role in translating design intent into a fully commissioned, operational facility.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Day-to-day management of the data centre construction programme
- Coordinating civil, structural, and MEP contractors on site
- Driving progress against milestones and resolving construction challenges as they arise
- Managing interfaces between designers, contractors, vendors, and client stakeholders
- Controlling cost, change, and risk throughout the construction phase
- Ensuring all works comply with Danish regulations, safety standards, and project specifications
- Supporting testing, commissioning, and readiness for operational handover
- Producing clear progress updates and reporting to senior stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in construction project management
- Experience working on technically demanding projects such as data centres, industrial facilities, energy, life sciences, or large commercial builds
- Comfortable managing MEP-intensive construction packages
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple contractors and suppliers
- Practical, solution-oriented mindset with strong site presence
- Fluent English is required; Danish is an advantage
Ideal Background (Not Essential)
- Previous data centre or mission-critical project experience
- Engineering, construction management, or technical degree
- Experience working within international project teams
- Familiarity with fast-track or phased construction programmes
