g2 are searching for a HSE Manager!

The client is a materials plant operator, and they are working on the aligning operational safety, maintenance and the management of their HSE/HSEQ systems throughout their plants.

The roles requires a HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) Manager to take the lead overseeing multiple sites throughout Europe. This is a major international client, so you will be overseeing on-site safety, dealing with local teams, and delivering international safety procedures.

START: Q2 2026

SALARY: €7,500 - €9,000 Euros per month + 8% + package + car

LOCATION: Brussels, Belgium

CONTRACT: Permanent

Specification:

  • 5 + years in a HSE managerial role
  • HSE/HSSE/HSEQ/QHSE technical background with relevant certification
  • MVK certification is necessary (HVK is a plus)
  • Ideally experience working on operational process plants
  • Knowledge of safety HSE/QMS management systems
  • Experience working on a multi-site set up
  • English language skills (Dutch is beneficial)

The client has the opportunity for the successful HSE Manager to join them in Q2 2026, they would be happy for the successful candidate to mobilise at your earliest convenience.

The role requires a strong HSE Manager who is confident in managing operational, maintenance and site based staff on health, safety and environmental issues through a regional view.

Our Three Pillars of Training

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
