Site Supervisor · On-site

g2 are currently searching for a Freelance Site Supervisor for a client undertaking a major new-build industrial development. This large‑scale programme includes the construction of a new production facility, logistics areas, and modern office spaces, delivered in multiple phases to support long‑term operational growth.

The assignment will cover preparation and execution phases, including structural works, utilities integration, equipment installation coordination, and final commissioning. The successful candidate will support day-to-day activities on site to ensure safe, timely, and high‑quality delivery across all construction activities.

 

START: April 2026

LOCATION: Antwerp, Belgium

DURATION: 24‑month contract – 40 hours/week – Freelance

 

Requirements:

· 7–10+ years’ experience supervising large‑scale industrial, manufacturing, logistics, or commercial construction projects

· VOL‑VCA certification

· Strong knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and contractor oversight

· Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

· Fluency in Dutch or English; both are an advantage

 

Role:

· Oversee daily site operations and workforce activities.

· Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers.

· Ensure work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and deadlines.

· Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.

· Enforce site safety procedures and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.

· Conduct tool‑box talks, risk assessments, and incident reporting

Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
