Senior Hardware Engineer · Hybrid

g2 Recruitment is partnering with an exciting client who are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

They are a growing company working across various industries, focusing on advancing electronics and automated products to support engineering advancements. They have multiple offices located in the Randstad, and you will be able to work out of any of them.

You will be an important part of the development team, playing a senior role working on electronic system design, testing and programming as well as supporting production processes, mentoring more junior team members and liaising with clients.

Senior Hardware Engineer – Randstad region – Permanent Opportunity

 

Start date: April, May, June 2026

Location: Randstad region, Netherlands

Salary: €5,000 - €7,500 per month + 8%

Package: 30 days annual leave, 38 hours, pension scheme, travel allowance

Essential skills:

  • Minimum HBO level background in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
  • Electronics/PCB design experience using Altium, ECAD, KiCad, or similar
  • Knowledge of hardware design including microcontrollers, digital and amalogue engineering
  • Any experience with firmware or embedded systems beneficial
  • Experience with consumer products or high-end electronics
  • Dutch speaking strongly preferred, English essential

Our Three Pillars of Training

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.

Kane joined g2 in April 2023 as an Academy & Systems Trainer.

His role involves teaching the consultants that are new to the company the foundations of recruitment and our systems before then helping them to upskill in areas specific to each consultant. Working closely with different consultants and watching them implement the feedback, apply it, and then benefit off the back of it.
