Overview
We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to support a civil engineering contractor delivering multiple projects across Frankfurt. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong site presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate across different clients, teams, and safety systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HSE support across multiple civil engineering project sites
- Ensure compliance with German HSE legislation and company standards
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Support and drive a positive safety culture across all projects
- Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety briefings
- Liaise with multiple clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
- Assist with incident investigations and reporting
- Adapt to different client systems and procedures as required
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HSE Advisor within civil engineering projects (essential)
- Strong understanding of high-risk activities (groundworks, utilities, heavy civils, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work across multiple projects and adapt to different environments
- Flexible and proactive approach to safety management
- NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent)
- Right to work in Germany (essential)
- Fluent in English (German is advantageous but not required)
