Company Overview:

Our client is a leading international contractor delivering complex, high-value data centre projects across Europe. As part of a major new-build data centre programme in Norway, we are seeking an experienced MEP Manager with a strong electrical background to join the site delivery team on a rotational basis.

Role:

As MEP Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing scope of works on-site whilst managing subcontractors, ensuring quality and safety, compliance with Finnish regulations whilst keeping the project on time and in budget.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full MEP package Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection)
  • Managing a team including Project Managers, Package Managers and Supervisors for each discipline
  • Coordinating and communicating with with design, commercial, QA/QC, Safety, end client and other stakeholders
  • Manage subcontractors international and local
  • Attend multi company construction meetings
  • Management of the Cx phase

Requirements:

  • Degree Engineering mechanical or electrical
  • 3+ years’ experience in managing Data Center Projects
  • 10+ Yeats in Project / Construction Management
  • Fluent in English with Full EU Passport

Our Three Pillars of Training

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
