Job Opportunity - Construction Manager (Civils)

Duration - 9 Month+ Project - with high chance of extension

Location - Tullamore, Ireland

Rate - € per/day negotiable

 

g2 have partnered with an international EPC client who have won a number of large projects in Ireland and therefore are looking for external support and are hiring a Freelance Construction Manager with a strong Civil Engineering background.

The project is to oversee the construction process of a 150MW project and this will be overseeing all day to day site activities, planning, managing subcontractors, cost estimations, holding planning and progress meetings for the end client, deal with all quality and HSE duties.

This position is to begin at the end of May 2026 and will be for a minimum of 9 months but likely to be renewed.

Requirements to be considered:

  • EU rights to work or full UK citizenship.
  • Minimum of 3 year's direct experience working on PV (Photovoltaic) projects within Europe.
  • Be extremely confident as a Construction Manager to deliver the above scope of works and have a strong Civil Engineering background.
  • Be available to be on site daily as required.

Our client are happy to pay for travel and accommodation so the price you are being paid will be work only in € per/day.

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
