Project Overview

You will be working on a large‑scale data centre construction project, supporting the safe and efficient delivery of site activities across multiple work fronts. The project involves complex civil, structural, and MEP works, strict regulatory and quality requirements, and close coordination between subcontractors, engineering teams, and project management to deliver a mission‑critical facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day‑to‑day site activities across data centre construction works
  • Supervise subcontractors involved in civil works, structural construction, MEP installation (including power, cooling, and cabling), and fit‑out works
  • Monitor progress against the construction programme and proactively highlight risks, delays, or constraints
  • Ensure full compliance with HSE, environmental, and regulatory standards applicable to data centre construction
  • Ensure works comply with data centre standards relating to safety, quality, resilience, and commissioning readiness
  • Liaise closely with construction management, engineering, QA/QC, commissioning, and HSE teams to resolve site issues efficiently

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager / Site Supervisor on large‑scale data centre, mission‑critical, or complex industrial construction projects
  • Solid understanding of data centre construction methods, sequencing, and site logistics, including civil, structural, and MEP interfaces
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors across parallel work fronts
  • Strong focus on health & safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance
  • Strong communication skills with confidence reporting into senior site and project management teams

Our Three Pillars of Training

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.

His role involves teaching the consultants that are new to the company the foundations of recruitment and our systems before then helping them to upskill in areas specific to each consultant.
