Precision Engineering for Critical Infrastructure
We are seeking a German-qualified Engineer (Civil/Construction) to provide technical oversight for a high-profile substation project in Nauen. This role is designed for a detail-oriented professional capable of bridging the gap between complex design blueprints and on-site execution.
The Opportunity
As the resident technical authority, you will ensure that all construction activities align with both German regulatory frameworks and our rigorous internal management systems. This role offers a unique balance of site-based leadership and technical design work, with a flexible hybrid work model (up to 50% remote) to be discussed based on project phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Design & Oversight: Read and interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and complex construction plans to ensure site accuracy.
- Design Coordination: Utilize CAD tools (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud - ACC) to perform technical drawings, implement changes, and provide real-time corrections.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all works strictly adhere to German construction regulations and internal corporate standards.
- Quality Monitoring: Oversee site progress, ensuring compliance with design specifications and engineering integrity.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Support Site and Project Managers by acting as the technical interface between design teams and on-site contractors.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a qualified professional who combines technical academic training with practical site experience.
- Education: A mandatory M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering / Construction.
- Experience: This role is open to Junior-level engineers with a few years of relevant experience in infrastructure or substation projects.
- Technical Skills: * Proficiency in CAD/ACC software is essential.
- Strong ability to interpret SLDs and structural construction plans.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of German construction standards and local regulations.
- Linguistic Skills: Professional fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
Project Details
- Location: Nauen, Brandenburg (Site-based with up to 50% remote potential).
- Duration: 12 Months (with an option to extend).
- Workload: 100% Full-time.
