There is an exciting opportunity with one of our key international clients, who is currently looking to hire an experienced Electrical Technician with a background in the oil & gas, chemical, or energy sectors.
Our client operates globally across the oil and gas industry, including hydrogen projects, and has seen consistent growth over the past decade. We have received outstanding feedback from candidates already placed with the company, and both my Director and I had the opportunity to visit their headquarters in Germany last year to meet the team in person.

As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for delivering safe, reliable, and high‑quality electrical installation and commissioning services for complex industrial systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out electrical installation work at industrial facilities in compliance with applicable standards and safety regulations
- Commissioning switchgear, control panels and related systems, including functional testing and fault diagnosis
- Installing and connecting MSR (measurement, control and regulation) systems, as well as low‑voltage components
- Performing cable routing, wiring, termination and technical documentation across various project sites
- Collaborating closely with project managers and engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution
Key Requirements:
- Completed vocational training as an electrician, electrical technician, mechatronics technician or a comparable qualification
- Initial experience in an industrial, plant engineering or service environment is advantageous
- Willingness to travel to customer sites, with a flexible and hands‑on approach to work
- Class B driving licence
- Strong focus on safety, quality and reliability
- German language skills at B2 level or above
