Construction Manager – CAPEX projects to join our client working on FMCG Projects, near to Amsterdam, Netherlands.
The client is looking for 1-2 Construction Managers to work over the next 12-24 months onsite in Amsterdam. The client is working on FMCG projects, €10 - €100 Million in value.
The role is to work on the client side, managing the construction contractor to deliver a construction package of Mechanical and Electrical (MEICA) systems. The client is working on a pilot plant new build and an expansion of an existing site.
START: May/June 2026
DURATION: 12 – 24 Months
LOCATION: Amsterdam, Netherlands
The client is particularly interested in candidates with experience in Construction and Installation on either brownfield or greenfield projects. The successful construction managers would join the CAPEX projects team delivering pharmaceutical projects.
As a Construction Manager you ensure, with a hands-on approach that the construction site runs smoothly and the installations are successfully removed and replaced safely and to the highest quality.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER – Site Manager
- You have 5+ years of relevant work experience as a Construction manager, Director or equivalent in technique within the Pharmaceutical or FMCG industry
- Technical construction experience, mechanical construction, sub-contractor management
- Greenfield or Brownfield projects experience
- Knowledge Mechanical Engineering within a plant / Process environment.
- English and Dutch Language Skills (Must Speak fluently).
- VCA or relevant site certifications.
The client is currently in the early enabling works phase, this is due to complete in February with potential cross over to start working on the project in May/June. The construction phase of the project is then run until the end of 2028.
