Project Engineer · On-Site

Our client is currently looking for a Civil Project Engineer to join them on a 12 Month Mission in the Rotterdam region.

Our client is a Civils Contractor, and their services include Concrete Packages, Groundworks and Steel Structures. Our client is working on an concrete package in the Rotterdam region delivering a marine civil engineering project. They are looking for a Dutch speaking project engineer with a civil engineering background that speaks fluent Dutch.

They have advised that they are especially interested in speaking with project engineers with a knowledge of concrete packages, manufacturing and steel packages.

 

START: ASAP

LOCATION: Rotterdam Region

RATES: Accommodation can be provided depending on situation

DURATION: 12 Month Contract – Good potential to extend

 

Site Project Engineer / Civil Engineer – Civil Project Engineer

  • Experience as a civil engineer, structural engineer or resident engineer
  • Experience with engineering, design and project delivery
  • Experience with Marine civil engineering projects
  • Civils package experience (minor or major works/packages)
  • Understanding of civils, drainage, structures, ground works, highways is all applicable
  • Experience with Procuring Materials
  • Experience with checking Engineering Designs and coordination with design office
  • Experience with QC inspections
  • Dutch is required

 

You will join Our client on an initial 12 Month Contract, but they are hoping for further work in the region following the initial project.

The client has advised they have the opportunity to interview as early as next week.

Our Three Pillars of Training

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
