Senior Project Planner · On-Site

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support the delivery of large-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in planning and scheduling for energy, renewable energy, utility, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong background working on BESS, battery storage, substations, grid connection, transmission, distribution, or related power projects.
  • Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules throughout the full project lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of critical path analysis, schedule risk management, progress measurement, and project controls.
  • Fluent German and English communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Experience working within EPC, EPCM, or major construction project environments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules for BESS projects.
  • Monitor project progress and analyse schedule performance against key milestones.
  • Coordinate planning activities across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
  • Prepare progress reports, schedule forecasts, and recovery plans where required.
  • Identify project risks and opportunities that may impact schedule delivery.
  • Support project management teams in delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Our Three Pillars of Training

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
