Overview
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Project Manager to support the delivery of a large-scale brewery project in Liège. The Project Manager will oversee multiple workstreams including utilities, brewing, packaging, and building/construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project delivery across:
- Utilities (steam, water, compressed air, energy, wastewater)
- Brewing process areas
- Packaging lines
- Building and infrastructure works
- Coordinate internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and engineering partners
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers
- Track progress, manage change control, and resolve technical or delivery issues
- Report regularly to senior stakeholders on milestones, risks, and performance
- Support commissioning, handover, and ramp-up activities
Required Experience & Skills
- 5+ years’ experience in Industrial Engineering
- 5+ years’ experience in Project Management within industrial or manufacturing environments
- Strong experience managing CAPEX projects
- Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders and contractors
- Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills
Education/Background
- Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or similar)
- Candidates from an FMCG or industrial manufacturing background are highly preferred.
