Project Engineer | Data Centre Security Systems | Frankfurt
The Role
We are working with a leading security integrator delivering enterprise-level security systems across critical infrastructure and hyperscale data centres.
We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer / Security Systems Engineer with a strong electrical background to support the installation, commissioning and integration of security systems across large-scale data centre projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Commission and support enterprise security systems within data centre environments
- Work on CCTV, access control systems, card readers, door controllers and intercom systems
- Carry out installation, testing, fault finding and system upgrades
- Configure and integrate leading security platforms
- Support project delivery alongside project managers and contractors
- Produce commissioning documentation and system handovers
- Provide technical support to engineers and end clients
- Ensure all works meet compliance and industry standards
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer / Security Systems Engineer
- Strong background working on data centre or critical infrastructure projects
- Hands-on experience with:
- Access control systems
- CCTV systems
- Door entry and card reader systems
- Experience working on large-scale or enterprise security integrations
- Previous experience in a contractor / installer environment
Technical Skills (Highly Desirable)
Experience with one or more of:
- CCURE 9000
- Genetec
- Lenel OnGuard
- Gallagher
- Avigilon
- Axis
