Project Engineer | Data Centre Security Systems | Frankfurt

 

The Role

We are working with a leading security integrator delivering enterprise-level security systems across critical infrastructure and hyperscale data centres.

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer / Security Systems Engineer with a strong electrical background to support the installation, commissioning and integration of security systems across large-scale data centre projects.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Commission and support enterprise security systems within data centre environments
  • Work on CCTV, access control systems, card readers, door controllers and intercom systems
  • Carry out installation, testing, fault finding and system upgrades
  • Configure and integrate leading security platforms
  • Support project delivery alongside project managers and contractors
  • Produce commissioning documentation and system handovers
  • Provide technical support to engineers and end clients
  • Ensure all works meet compliance and industry standards

Required Experience

  • Proven experience as a Project Engineer / Security Systems Engineer
  • Strong background working on data centre or critical infrastructure projects
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Access control systems
  • CCTV systems
  • Door entry and card reader systems
  • Experience working on large-scale or enterprise security integrations
  • Previous experience in a contractor / installer environment

Technical Skills (Highly Desirable)

Experience with one or more of:

  • CCURE 9000
  • Genetec
  • Lenel OnGuard
  • Gallagher
  • Avigilon
  • Axis

Our Three Pillars of Training

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
