PLC Programmer (Siemens S7) · Remote

We are currently working with a German customer of mine who are an electronics manufacturing services provider that work within the automotive and aviation industries.

They have won a project and therefore need a Freelancer who is an expert in PLC Programming work using Siemens S7 software.

Role - PLC Programmer (Siemens S7)

Duration - 6-12 Months.

Location - Remote based with occasional travel to Nuremberg, Germany.

Rate - TBC in € per/hour paid as a Freelancer.

Role Type - Freelance / B2B Contract.

Requirements to be considered:

- Must be able to work as an independent Freelancer in Europe (have valid EU passport and company set up or be prepared to work via a payroll solution).

- Fluent in English

- Minimum of 5 year's experience using Siemens SIMATIC S7.

- Ideally worked for specialist machinery building businesses or production/assembly lines projects within the Automotive or Aviation sectors.

- Be able to begin within 2 weeks.

 

The client is conducting interviews quickly and will have hired by next Friday 3rd July 2026.

Our Three Pillars of Training

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
