Commissioning Manager · On-site

g2 are currently supporting a client on a major Data Centre project in Finland and am looking to speak with experienced Commissioning Managers for a freelance contract role.

This position requires someone who is comfortable working full-time onsite and is available to operate on a freelance/contract basis for the duration of the project.

Job Title: Commissioning Manager

Package: Rotation

Location: Data center-Finland

Contract: 2 years

Rate: Depends on experience

The Role

  • Lead and manage all commissioning activities across the project
  • Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and client teams
  • Oversee testing, validation, and system handovers
  • Ensure commissioning programs and documentation remain on track
  • Drive project milestones while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Commissioning Manager within Data Centers, Mission Critical, MEP, or large-scale construction projects
  • Strong understanding of commissioning processes and project delivery
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • MUST be open to working onsite in Finland
  • MUST have the right to work in Finland
  • MUST be available to work on a freelance/contract basis

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
